When designing social inclusion and interaction programs, a person's needs are specifically considered, which then assists the individual in finding their own unique position in the world where they can feel accepted and at home. Abilities Enabled promotes socialization through center-based activities and clubs. Support staff members supervise self-directed skill-building activities in these center-based programs. We encourage individuals to engage in independent activities in addition to workshops and group activities.
